Dream scenario: Part 1 Gorilla Resort So, me and my college friends are in a bus going to a resort that's located in a jungle inhabited by Gorillas. We arrive there and we are taking our bags to our rooms. Surprisingly, enough our guide for this trip is Elbin. A classmate you don't know much about irl but just know he's chill. However, here comes the funniest part. After setting up our rooms, we follow him and gives us instructions on what to do when we see the Gorillas. He quite literally told us to make "ooh ooh aah aah" monkey noises because that way the Gorillas don't hurt the tourists. Now, my dreams are usually a plethora of scenarios even it isn't a plethora it transitions so abruptly. Dream scenario: Part 2 Gothic friend Before I got to see the Gorillas my eyes open to us returning back to the resort and climbing the stairs back to our rooms. I was at the back of the line whole returning. Now as I reach my floor I notice some girl in the room. Though the windows I recognize it's my classmates from school. (A bit of lore, we weren't close at all but I remember that her name was Natasha and she was a k pop and drama fan which she still is today but after grade 10 she took a more dark Gothic style and look.) Now, I become curious and knock her door, she let's me in as she recognizes me. I quite literally see her doing dark rituals with crystals and shit. Although I didn't find it weird. In fact, later on we talked and took pictures for memory at the campfire late night. That was so realistic that I clearly remember the pose we had in the picture. Now after dinner and campfire we return to the room and I notice something. She is smiling at me and I to her. We come close to each other and boom yk what happens next? We kiss and make love to each other.
Dreams are fascinating windows into our subconscious, often revealing our thoughts, feelings, and experiences in symbolic and surreal ways. The dream you described comprises two distinct parts, each rich with symbolism and emotional context.
Part 1: Gorilla Resort
The setting of a resort in a jungle inhabited by gorillas might represent a desire for adventure, exploration, or perhaps an examination of primal instincts within yourself or your relationships. The gorilla symbolizes raw, untamed nature and can reflect aspects of your personality or innate feelings that you may not fully understand or are sometimes hesitant to confront.
Your college friends being with you signifies a shared journey, perhaps representing camaraderie and a collective search for identity and new experiences at this point in your life. The figure of Elbin, although not someone you know well, becomes a guiding presence, perhaps symbolizing a part of yourself that embodies a laid-back attitude. His nonchalant advice to mimic gorilla sounds can suggest the potential power of playfulness or humor in difficult situations—an invitation to embrace your instincts and approach challenges with a light-hearted spirit.
The enthusiastic, somewhat absurd task of communicating with gorillas implies that you may be navigating social interactions that feel foreign or intimidating. It prompts you to consider how you present yourself to others in unfamiliar settings—a metaphor for finding your voice among the chaos or confusion you might feel in real life.
Part 2: Gothic Friend
The transition to this part of the dream marks a shift in theme from adventure to intimate connection. Climbing the stairs back to your room suggests a journey toward self-discovery, perhaps hinting that you are ascending to a new level of awareness or maturity.
Encountering Natasha, whom you remember from school, indicates an exploration of your past—specifically, themes of transformation and change. Her gothic style, in contrast to her previous persona, may symbolize how people evolve and adapt, mirroring your own growth and exploration of identity. This meeting suggests a curiosity in you about what lies beneath the surface, both in others and within yourself.
The dark rituals she performs with crystals can represent healing, introspection, and perhaps a deeper understanding of your emotional state. Engaging with her—it’s notable that you did not find her practices strange—indicates you are open to exploring various aspects of yourself and others without judgment. This openness is crucial as it fosters connection.
The eventual kiss and intimacy symbolize a merging of two parts of yourself—a meeting of light and dark, exploration and comfort. This passionate exchange reveals a longing for deeper emotional connections and an understanding that intimacy can unfold when you're open and accepting of both your own experiences and those of others.
Overall Interpretation:
Together, these dream parts explore themes of adventure, self-discovery, openness, transformation, and intimacy. They suggest you are navigating your college experience alongside your evolving identity and relationships. You’re called to embrace both playful and serious aspects of life—whether that means confronting your primal instincts symbolized by the gorillas or seeking deeper connections, like the one with Natasha.
